With ever-changing weather patterns and increasing population, feeding the world in a sustainable manner is becoming an increasing priority. Regenerative Agriculture is one approach that covers a diverse range of methods and issues. Armidale grazier, Richard Makim is one of many embracing various assorted holistic principles to better improve outcomes while respecting the land and improving its health. Richard will be SLA’s next guest speaker at the next forum on 7th March.
Complementing Richard’s expertise on the land, local Environmentalist Sara Schmude will also discuss the Facebook group Regenerative Agriculture. A group of like-minded people from a diversity of backgrounds, the group allows for the sharing of knowledge, ideas and experiences around Regenerative Agriculture. This brings together a wide range of interested parties, not just farmers and graziers, but also allows for community engagement and learning as well.
So both the technical input and the opportunity for community engagement the forum will be followed by a Q&A session then a light supper.
The forum will start at 7pm at Kent House, on Thursday 7th March. All are welcome to attend – gold coin donation appreciated.
