CONNECT. CREATE. INSPIRE. ACT

This lies at the heart of this community organisation and they are now seeking to express this visually with the development of a SLA logo. All members of the public are invited and encouraged to submit a logo for consideration.

The Brief:
The core requirements for this logo are as follows;

  1. The acronym ‘SLA’ must be included
  2. Needs to be colour with good black & white reproduction
  3. Easily resizable – this is to be used on letterhead to banners and everything in between
  4. The use of the words ‘Connect, Create, Inspire, Act’ are optional, but the logo must be reflective of this ethos regardless of words actually appear in the final image
  5. Review what we are about. This is vital as the logo needs to accurately represent SLA and as such this further information needs to be closely referenced. Review of this information will show that;
    1. SLA is a forward looking organisation and this must be expressed by the logo
    2. SLA are keen to promote a fresh and positive outlook and the logo should encapsulate this

Entries Close: 5:00pm Friday 3rd of September 2010

Submission format: on A4 to ‘SLA logo Competition’ with full name, and phone number clearly identified.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Open to all individuals that reside in the Armidale district, with a limit of one entry per person.
  • Entries should be no more than a single A4 page and contain the design for the SLA logo reflecting the core identity of Connect, Create, Inspire, Act.
  • Send to: SLA logo Competition with name, and contact details clearly identified. Entries close 5pm Friday 3rd September 2010.
  • Entries may be used in promoting SLA.
  • Entries will be judged by an expert panel whose decision will be final.
