This guide shows planting time periods that should allow you to get a crop in Armidale.

AURG Sunday Sessions are back!

This Sundays’ Working Bee will be based at Site 13 near the serpent native flower area. It will be cutting and pasting privet in preparation for development of 3 new sites, plus some weeding of the serpent site if time permits.

These new sites will include a Native grasses area and 2 new showcase plantings.

Details for working bee are as follows:

  • Time:  8.30am
  • LocationDumaresq Creek near Site 13 (Ribbon Gum, Eucalyptus viminalis); downstream from the Prickly Problems sign and Lions Picnic Table. Access off Erskine Street through the gate at the Phil Wheaton Soccer Oval and follow the path veering to the left (downstream), or access along the bicycle way.        
  • What to bring: BYO long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy boots.  Please also bring gloves, broad brim hat and sunscreen.

Covid 19 Reminder Bear in mind the current requirements for social distancing and group size whilst working and eating. We will allocate tasks and eating arrangements depending upon numbers.

AURG will provide equipment, morning tea and a BBQ lunch for a gold coin donation.
