Thank Westpac #StopAdani

Monday, 8 May
11:00 amto1:00 pm

We want to say “thank you” for Nemo & the kiddies!
Wespac has ruled out any future investments in coal that is not of “Newcastle Benchmark” grade, limiting financing to the Hunter Valley or equivalent quality.
Knitting Nannas Armidale Group – KNAG NENW & Friends are going to be there with bells on, signs and smiles to further encourage Westpac’s resolve, to say “thank you” and take them a cake!
If Westpac can do this, they set a valuable precedent for the other big banks to follow. Clearly showing our politicians that investing in risky coal projects just doesn’t stack up!
Public response is essential to encourage more change!

  • WHERE: Beardy Street Armidale (Westpac Branch)
  • WHEN: Monday 8th May, 11am – 1pm
  • WEAR: Westpac RED, or your favourite NO COAL or REEF tee-shirt
