Calling food gardeners of Armidale! get ready for Home Grown Garden Tour 2022

Tuesday, 25 Jan
5:00 pm

Would you like to be a part of the Home Grown Garden Tour? This event invites the public into the backyards, community gardens and hidden verges of local food growers in Armidale and will take place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th February 2022. You would need to be available over both days for either a morning or afternoon session (which we will schedule in once you have been selected).

This year the focus of the tour is on diversity. We hope to showcase a range of gardens of various scales and endeavours. Whether you are just starting out or whether you have an established garden of many years we look forward to hearing from you. Likewise, if you are part of a community of growers, we would also love to showcase your garden.

Note to previous participants:

  • If you have been involved before 2017 you are welcome to apply.

OR

  • If you have been involved since 2017 you are welcome to apply, however we would like to hear about what is new in your garden.

Our aim is to program a diverse array of gardens and systems which means the number of host gardens may be limited and not everyone who applies will be selected. However, there will be more events throughout the year for all interested to be involved in.

How to apply:

Send an email to armidalefoodgroup@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Your name/s, address, and contact ph.
  • Tell us about your garden! 300 words max.
  • Deadline: 25th January 2022

We will be in touch to arrange for one of our team to visit your garden. We will let you know in early February if you are successful.

If you have any questions, please contact Imogen on 0413 565 253.

Many thanks,

Kade & Imogen,
