1.0 Introduction: Sustainable Living Armidale is committed to respecting your Personal Information that we may collect, and is guided by the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Commonwealth) in how we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

2.0 Personal Information Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual, including names, postal and email addresses and phone numbers. Sustainable Living Armidale will collect it for the following purposes.

2.1 Member Register and Mailing lists Our Constitution requires that a Register of members be established, specifying the name, phone number, residential and email address of each person. This information will only be accessed by those officers that require it to perform their duties, and it will be managed consistent with the NPPs. Details of non-members will also be collected if they have requested to be added to the Groups mailing list.

2.3 Website Visitors who interact with the website, will have their IP address and browser user agent string collected. If you leave a comment on the site, your name and email address may be saved as cookies which last for a year. Comments and its metadata are retained indefinitely, as is personal information provided through online forms Embedded content from other websites may also collect data, use cookies and monitor interaction with the embedded content.

3.0 Access Consistent with the NPPs an individual has a right to access, and amendment of their personal information. These requests should be lodged via info@slarmidale.org
