Armidale Road to Paris aims to gain commitment from the Australian Government to act in the best interests of the Australian people and the broader global community by working towards limiting global warming to less than 2 degrees and protecting our future.
The vision of this action group is to raise awareness amongst the local Armidale community of the UN Climate Summit in Paris Nov-Dec 2015; the most critical meeting of world leaders since the Kyoto Agreement. We will convey to local and federal MP’s the community’s requests for the Australian Government to commit to evidence-based strategies to cap global warming to less than 2 degrees.
