Saturday, 17 FebtoSunday, 18 Feb

Armidale’s Home Grown Garden Tour is on this weekend! On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th February and you are invited into the backyards of Armidale’s and surrounds local food growers.

Come and share stories and ideas for growing food in our unique region. We have 8 unique gardens across the weekend, from large holdings 15 minutes outside town to small cottage gardens in the process of converting lawn to food. There are workshops on native food growing and how to making a wicking bed as well.

Across the weekend you’ll have the chance to visit gardens at your own pace with all 8 gardens open both Saturday and Sunday in either the morning (10-12.30pm) or afternoon (1.30-4pm) sessions.

Tickets with full information, map and schedule are available online through Eventbrite (https://sla.eventbrite.com.au) or in person at Readers’ Companion, 124 Beardy St (cash only).
