Calling local food gardeners of Armidale!

Friday, 10 Nov
5:00 pm

Would you like to be a part of the Local Food Growers Tour? This event invites the public into the backyards of local food growers and will take place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th February 2024. You would need to be available for two of four sessions over the weekend, either morning and/or afternoon.

This year the focus of the tour is on diversity. We hope to showcase a range of backyard and community gardens of various scales and endeavours. Whether you are just starting out or whether you have an established garden of many years we look forward to hearing from you. Likewise, if you are part of a community of growers, we would also love to showcase your garden.

Note to previous participants:
If you have been involved in recent years, please feel free to enquire about entering your garden again. The number of host gardens is limited though so if you are keen to have your garden included, please be in touch asap! Our aim is to program a diverse array of gardens and systems.

How to apply:

Send an email to armidalefoodgroup@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Your name/s, address, and contact ph.
  • Deadline: Friday 10th November 2023

We will be in touch to arrange for one of our team to visit your garden.
