    The Late Kath Wray

It was with great sadness that we heard of Kaths passing. among all the incredible things that Kath did in her lifetime, she was a member of an Armidale City Council committee that led to the formation of the Armidale Urban Rivercare Group. She became a foundation member of AURG and regularly attended tree planting working bees into her early 80’s.

Kath also organised grant funding for AURG from the group she formed, CWC. It was Kaths passion to have an east-west Wildlife Corridor from the University right through the middle of Armidale to Cookes Road and we are getting closer to achieving that goal of hers.

AURG members are deeply saddened by her passing, but look forward to completing her dream.

    Regards Bruce
