    I attended the workshop this week. The clear message that came through to me is that Pellett Heaters only have a future if we are forced to give up our wood heaters. The cost to run them is at least double the cost of running a wood heater, more if you are able to collect your own wood. There is a better alternative, multi fuel heaters that burn grain waste etc are much cheaper to run than Pellet Heaters, comparable to wood heaters, and do not produce contaminated smoke. We didn’t hear much about these at all.
