The Autumn Festival Parade will be on Saturday March 14th. For the eighth year running, SLA will again have (we hope) a fantastic ‘walking’ float in the Parade, with your help. Creative input is needed now.
There are over 600 SLA supporters out there – and here’s an SLA activity with a place for everyone: Can you come on Sunday and bring some ideas to brainstorm? Will you come to future hilarious working bees and help make the colourful and wondrous ‘things’ that we will wear or carry? And for everyone, do come along and walk with SLA on the day, and soak up the crowd’s support for our messages of sustainability and action on climate change.
There’s an ideas/planning meeting on next Sunday 8th February at 3pm at Bar & Pats’ place (email <info@slarmidale.org> for address). Everyone welcome – if you can’t come then but want to help later, and/or be part of the parade, please write to <info@slarmidale.org>
