Another brisk morning for Jo, Alan, Hani and Angela at the ALF stall on Sunday 21 July. Although the variety of produce was less diverse, there were no problems in selling the majority of items by 11.00 am. Some creative ideas in presenting the produce that was in abundance included bags of winter salad greens and stir fry green leaf mixes as well as bunching and bagging of chard and rocket. Strawberry seedlings and locally grown turmeric were popular.
Tickets will be on sale at the next stall on 4 August for the upcoming compost workshop by Tim Marshall planned for 24 August, 2013. All are welcome to come to the stall to say hello and acquaint themselves with information about our wonderful Community garden, Armidale Local Foods and discuss general planting details.
