Nominations are open for local Environmental Sustainability Committee

Nominations are open for Armidale Dumaresq Council’s (ADC) Environmental Sustainability Committee, and there are places for 10 community-members on the Committee.

You can contact Carol Davies, ADC’s Sustainability Coordinator on {local land line prefix}0 3686 or cdavies@armidale.nsw.gov.au to request a short summary about environmental sustainability in Armidale and the nature of the work of the Committee.

The terms of reference for the Environmental Sustainability Committees can be found on Council’s web site at

www.armidale.nsw.gov.au and typing “Council Committees” in the search box.

If you feel you can make a contribution to Council’s work in the area of environmental sustainability, working alongside Councillors and Council staff, please write to us indicating your interest in participating, outlining the nature of your interest and any special knowledge or expertise you can offer.

Your Expressions of Interest should be addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 75A, Armidale NSW 2350 or by email to: council@armidale.nsw.gov.au. The closing date for receiving Expressions of Interest is 5pm on Friday 16 November 2012.

Expressions of Interest will be evaluated on a merits basis and all respondents will be notified of the outcome in writing.
