Multi-Party Climate Committee CRUNCH TIME

I understand there are still four sticking points:

1. the price of carbon. If it is low, it will make little difference to our emissions and we won’t get enough money for household compensation and for renewable energy. Garnaut recommended $26; the Greens recommend $40; some businesses suggest $10.
2. the level of suppport for trade exposed industries
3. the level of support for households–and which households
4. the level of support for renewable energy.
