Holloway BESS situated at 112 Eathorpe Rd – a 250MW 2-4hr battery which will link in with the substation.
The project is Australian owned by Syn Co Global and Partners and is considered a State significant project.
The BESS will be low in height (up to 2.5m) and will cover 3Ha. It will comprise new generation Lithium Iron batteries with cutting edge inverters and built in safety systems. A Hazard analysis and Bushfire Risk Assessment has been done and all projects of this type liaise with the RFS.
Construction will occur during 2027.
Ebor BESS is a 100MW Battery with an 8 hr operation.
It is owned by the Australian company Bridge Energy (they aim to bridge the gap between fossil fuels and renewables and are based in Qld.
They intend to work with the local population and are offering 60 jobs in the construction phase which should also take place in 2027.
This BESS will link into an existing transmission line.
