As part of the Environmental Impact Statement for the New England Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) network infrastructure project, EnergyCo has engaged Umwelt to carry out the Social Impact Assessment.
Umwelt has recently conducted interviews with a range of local community groups, and to ensure we’re capturing a broad range of community perspectives, they also launched a public survey.
The survey takes around 20 minutes to complete and will remain open until Friday 20 June 2025: New England Renewable Energy Zone Transmission Project – Social Impact Assessment Survey
The results will help us better understand local views and priorities, so we can work to minimise potential impacts and maximise benefits from the renewable energy transition.
We’ve promoted the survey through recent project updates and at our community pop-ups, and we greatly appreciate your support in further sharing it with your members, networks, and broader community contacts.
