We had a great parliamentary trip last week with the delegation from the Hunter and New England Renewable Energy Zones!
We met with:
Dr Joe McGirr, Member for Wagga Wagga; Jeremy Buckingham MLC; Brendan Moylan, Member for Northern Tablelands; Sue Higginson MLC; Dugald Saunders, Member for Dubbo; Alex Greenwich, Member for Sydney; Clayton Barr, Member for Cessnock; Jacqui Scruby, Member for Pittwater; Kevin Anderson, Member for Tamworth; and Jacqui Munro MLC.
Across the board, we had really positive meetings and general support for the recommendations in our joint policy statement.
Many thanks to our wonderful delegation for their insight and dedication to ensuring that regional groups are consulted so that nature and communities in regional NSW can really benefit from the renewable energy transition.
