It is soon time to get together for our Regional Conference.
Each year we organise a big convergence for those who care about nature and climate in a different region of NSW.
We are excited to announce that this year’s conference will take place in the Hunter and Central Coast – a place known for beautiful beaches, scenic landscapes, stunning wildlife and of course – coal mining and coal-fired power. This area that powers NSW has become an exciting centre for the renewable energy transition.
To explore this and shine a spotlight on the unique challenges and exciting possibilities facing this region we are partnering with:
- Hunter Community Environment Centre (HCEC)
- Hunter Jobs Alliance (HJA)
- Rising Tide
- Climate Action Newcastle (CAN)
- Central Coast Community Environment Network (CEN)
- National Parks Association – Hunter Branch
- Hunter Renewal
- Hunter Environment Lobby
The conference will be a chance for networking, information sharing, skill development and collaborative planning to effect change.
