Community Engagement – New England REZ and NEW Transmission lines

Friday, 16 Jun

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is delivering 5 Renewable Energy Zones (REZ’s) and one is in the New England.

To stay connected and be the first to hear about opportunities to have your say please sign up to their project mailing list NOW at nerez@energyco.nsw.gov.au

They are currently working on the Network infrastructure strategy and the proposed establishment of NEW TRANSMISSION LINES.

As a community we need to be connected to the engagement to ensure the New England REZ delivers meaningful, long-term benefits to local communities, EnergyCo is seeking feedback from the community NOW and throughout the design and delivery process.

You have likely received a postcard in your mailbox as they have dropped 40,000 in the New England REZ region.

As a community we need to engage with the conversation about the realities of Energy Transition NOW, so please sign up if you can.

Climate Action Armidale has a new and active Renewable Energy Working group and if you want to get involved we will post about that separately.

In the meanwhile join the project mailing list nerez@energyco.nsw.gov.au or scan the QR code at the bottom of the attached PDF.
