Love nature, art, and young people speaking up for a better world?
Join us online next Thursday 8 December for an extra-special event to celebrate all the young artists – and reveal the winners – of this year’s Wild at Art threatened species art competition for kids.
From cassowaries and helmeted honeyeaters to spider orchids and banksias, we’ll showcase inspiring artworks of threatened species from young people aged 5-12 in an online exhibition – along with some wild games and exciting guest speakers. Everyone’s invited!
Joining us will be Stacey Thomson – also known as Ranger Stacey – plus the Australian Government’s Threatened Species Commissioner Fiona Fraser. They’ll help us reveal the winners, share what Australia’s threatened plants and animals mean to them, and celebrate the impact of the thousands of young people speaking up for nature.
