Northern Tablelands Local Lands Services is hosting a webinar on Koalas in the Northern Tablelands with researcher and expert Romane Cristescu from the University of Sunshine Coast on

• Identifying koalas
• Recording sightings
• Where are koala populations in the Northern Tabelands?
• How are they different from each other?

Our upcoming study looking for koalas in the Tooloom, Upper Tooloom, Urbenville, Woodenbong, Boorook, Carrol’s Creek areas

Romane recently led the rescue of 100 koalas in Queensland and NSW after the 2019/2020 bushfires swept through, using her sniffer dog, Bear.
