Power through Collaboration: A three-day event for organisations and individuals committed to climate action.

Held during the first parliamentary sitting week of the year for 2022, in Canberra on Ngunnawal and Ngambri country, this gathering will be a key opportunity for the climate movement to come together at a critical moment for climate action.

CANA invites member groups and guests to contribute to the content of the Program and actively lead on sessions.

There is still time to contribute and shape the agenda. Please submit Expressions of Interest  here by the 15th December 2021.

The themes of the conference include;

  • First Nations Justice
  • Spotlight on collaborative grassroot organising campaigns
  • Impacted communities. Connecting the lived experience/communicating the narrative
  • Focus on the experience of living in an area impacted by action on climate
  • Strength in movements through diverse and inclusive representation
  • Focus on national decision making.
  • Working across intersectionality and sectors – Building the power base
  • Climate litigation – What’s working for grassroots organisations
