A field trip and bird survey is planned at the Leard Forest precinct, which includes the Leard State Forest, Leard State Conservation Area and the adjoining Travelling Stock Route. This is the first community bird survey since 2015, and is a highly anticipated opportunity to get back to the endangered Leard Forest. Come for one day or both. While the event has a science focus, it is open to all levels of experience.
