Rural Lifestyle Block and Climate Risk Workshop

In case you missed it, there is one more Rural Lifestyle Block and Climate Risk Workshop to be held next Saturday 8th of May, at 2:00pm to 5:30pm, at the Armidale City Bowling Club.

Even though this event is primarily focused on rural residents from the “Dangarsleigh & Kelly’s Plains” Landcare group areas, the workshop is open to all small rural landowners around Armidale and interested town residents.

The workshop will consider:

Is your rural lifestyle block ready for the next fire, flood or drought?

Are you giving your rural lifestyle block the best chance to survive the next fire, flood or drought?

Do you have the knowledge & skills to navigate through it?

The series of interactive workshops for Rural Lifestyle Landholders will provide space to:

  1. Share reactions to recent drought and fires
  2. Explore responses to future climate change risks
  3. Explore current capabilities and potential barriers to adaptive action
  4. Learn how they can better navigate the next fire, ?ood or drought.

Bookings essential. Numbers are limited; so please ensure you book your place.
