Armidale ‘green drinks’ attracts a lively crowd

Tanya Howard, Convenor of SLA, welcomes attendees to green drinks.

This year’s ‘green drinks’ attracted a lively crowd to Armidale’s Imperial Hotel last Thursday, April 22nd. Initially started by David Carr (Director of Stringybark Ecological) and now organised by Sustainable Living Armidale, the aim of ‘green drinks’ is to enable anyone who works or cares for the environment – including consultants, advocates, community members, government officers, researchers and horticulturalists – to meet each informally in a relaxed environment. After the restrictions of 2020, this year’s gathering provided opportunities for networking, discussion and good humour that were enjoyed by all.
