In 2018 Council engaged consultants McGregor Coxall to deliver a master plan in consultation with the community that will enhance liveability of the city through integration of the creek and its associated ecology with urban design principles and the creation of useable, enjoyable and safe public spaces.
The area of the master plan follows Dumaresq Creek and includes the adjacent parkland areas east to Taylor Street and west to Albion Park opposite the Armidale Tafe. Comprehensive consultation with the community.
A draft Armidale Creeklands Masterplan was produced in collaboration with the community and key stakeholders.
