Stop Adani Get-Together at the Wicklow

We are having our Get-Together evening at 6pm upstairs at the Wicklow. 

There will be an introduction to the Adani mine and what the company are up to these days, showing a 30 min film, Guarding the Galilee, about Adani’s effects on the local environment and farmers who live in the region, we’ll then talk about what our local group has been up to and what it is planning for the future, then there’ll be time for an open discussion.

  I noticed by email that ‘Stop Adani’ held a door knocking campaign in the electorate of Wentworth. It no doubt contributed to the loss by the Liberal Party in the seat for the first time in the party’s history. These grass roots campaigns work.
