The Armidale Branch of the National Parks Association invites you to an evening devoted to conservation in North West NSW
on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Kent House, 141 Faulkner Street, Armidale

- 7:00 pm AGM & General Meeting
- 7:30 pm Tamworth ecologist Phil Spark: Prospects for conservation in North West NSW- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly?
What is the present situation with conservation in our region? Are we going forward, treading water, or going backwards?
Phil will review the threats to conservation now and in the future, land management reforms, the impact of exotic plants and animals, climate change, and problems with environmental planning. He will use local examples to help people comprehend the dimension of the problems in our region.
Also present for the evening is Liz Blair, Regional Manager of the Biodiversity Conservation Trust, who will explain how the newly-formed Trust supports conservation on private land and will be available to answer your questions. - 9 :00 pm Supper – plenty of time for further questions and discussion

However it is a bit confusing to see a heading of Sunday 18th November – though the correct date of Thursday 18th October is listed underneath.
