Climate Council has summarised the Finkel Review

The Finkel Review was tasked with developing a “blueprint” for the national electricity market (NEM) that:

  • delivers on Australia’s emissions reduction commitments
  • provides affordable electricity, and
  • ensures a high level of security and reliability.
