Writer and trainer in organic growing, environmental and biodiversity management — Tim Marshall, will lead August Forum.

Tim Marshall is a pioneer of organic certification. He was a founder of the first Australian organic certifier (NASAA) and the first Standards & Certification Manager of the worldwide peak body of the organic industry (IFOAM).

Organic tea coffee and spice is part adventure travelogue through Asia and the Pacific, and part description of why tropical polyculture (and specifically the ‘Javanese homegarden system’) is the most productive and sustainable farming system on the planet.

Meet at 7pm on Thursday, August 4th at Kent House, opposite Central Park. Discussion will be followed by a light supper and an opportunity for people to talk informally. Gold coin donation appreciated. Everyone is welcome.
