In support of the new sustainability paradigm

In our era of unprecedented social and environmental change, new stories alert us to the shortcomings of the myth of unlimited economic growth. What better way to support an alternative ‘big story’ than to make a film? Film is the great myth-making machine of the modern era, and when impactful visuals are combined with a convincing narrative, the documentary form can help change the world.

This is what is intended for City Living, Nature Calling, an ecomythic documentary that shows how modern societies can bring more balance to human / ecosystem relations and adapt to meet the challenges of climate change.

When enough funds are raised (aiming for between 20-40K) this six minute trailer will become a 30-minute episode that develops a new language around modern myth and the ecological self. Dr Geoffrey Berry brings over 20 years of academic research to the project, along with a natural style akin to Professor Brian Cox.

We’d love you to be part of this community by contributing as little as $5 during our campaign, which runs from now until the 19th November at
