Biodiversity at the pub: surveying nature and discovering new species in New England

c-Cassandra Nichols - whistling kite (email) ???????????????????????????????Australia’s pioneering nature discovery project, Bush Blitz, is coming to New England to discover and document new species in Oxley Wild River National Park. Join leading scientists for an informative evening to find out what’s in your backyard!

  • Find out what scientists have discovered about local species, including potential new species they have discovered during the expedition.
  • Learn about techniques you can use to survey plants and animals in your local area.
  • Chat to botanists and zoologists from herbaria, museums and other institutions around Australia.

    Reads like a fine lead-up to the ‘Insect Hunt’ currently in the pipeline and set for a location within Armidale.
