4547d2bcf5306a2ef65165958c55How could one possibly live without money in a world where money is such an integral part of everything we do? The documentary Living Without Money shows how German woman Heidimarie Schwermer experimented for a year with a lifestyle that didn’t involve money. Once the year was over she found she had no wish to go back, and is still living this way 15 years later.

The film explores not only the practicalities of her day-to-day existence but also her philosophy of life and why she chose to live the way she does. Is she nuts, or is she brilliant? The film offers an opportunity to consider how money influences our ways of thinking and acting and the impact this has on our own lives, health and environment.

Sustainable Living Armidale will be screening the film Living Without Money at it’s next Thursday Forum, on October 2nd, 7pm at Kent House, 141 Faulkner St, opposite Central Park. All welcome, light refreshments, a gold coin donation appreciated.
