Attached are links to Rio Tinto’s proposal to extend Mt Thorley & Warkworth open cut coal mines. If these proposals are approved by the NSW Planning and Assessment Commission the world unique Warkworth Sands Woodland will be destroyed and the village of Bulga will become yet another ghost town in the Hunter Valley.
I encourage you to make a submission to stop Rio Tinto. Please help save our village and this irreplaceable woodland.
