Creative Workshop Retreats – Photography in the Field

Saturday, 22 MartoSunday, 23 Mar

Go Create! New England is a new local partnership offering creative workshops and retreats for all. Workshops cover many areas of visual arts and take place at our purpose built solar passive studio on our farm in Kentucky. We have on farm accommodation and love sharing our Landcare award winning farm with everybody.

For example: Coming up 22nd-23rd March, we have Photography in the Field – taught by a local farmer/photographer, Michael Taylor, with wide experience in photography – particularly in the outdoors. Students will learn all aspects of photography and have a chance to photograph the environment in ways they may never have known possible.

Then, on 14th June, we have a workshop on Ecodyeing, taught by Raella Morrison from Tamworth. Ecodyeing is all about using natural products – leaves etc, to dye fabrics in a stunning and unusual way. Students will have a chance to dye silk, cotton and 100% merino wool.

We have loads more workshops that you can see on our website.
