Write an SLA blog post

13 Steps to publishing an SLA blog post

1. Start by going to the SLA website at https://slarmidale.org/
2. NEW Click on Log in at the very bottom of any page just before the copyright statement (this step is incorrect in the video)
3. Enter your username and password
4. Under left side menu Posts (click on to expand it if necessary) click on Add New
5. Type in a catchy title where it says Enter title here
6. Type the story in the large text box, make sure the Visual tab is selected top-right of this text box
7. If the story has an event date, scroll down to Event Editor. Click +, choose dates.
8. Once finished click on Save Draft in the Publish side menu top-right
9. Click on Preview in the Publish side menu. Your post will open up in a new window
10. Check post for errors. Close window
11. If there are errors, fix them and go back to step 8, if not continue
12. Check the categories your post belongs to using the check boxes in the Categories side menu. Check SLAM if you want it to appear in the newsletter.
13. Finally click Publish at the bottom of the Publish side menu box.
