This workshop is for builders, owner-builders and sustainability enthusiasts interested in learning about hemp lime construction. This technique has been traditionally used in Europe for hundreds of years, but has been ‘rediscovered’ as a green building method. With high thermal mass, heat and sound insulation properties, carbon sequestration, use of renewable materials, and low toxicity… hemp lime construction has great potential for a local, energy-efficient, sustainable building industry.
Cost: $320 – $290 (conc.) Includes Sat lunch & dinner, Sun lunch. Camping onsite.
Time: 8.30am Sat to 4.30pm Sun
