SLA’s ‘I Can Do It’ project is holding curtain and pelmet making workshops.
CURTAIN MAKING
GROUP 1: Fridays May 3 & 17, 9:30-12:00
GROUP 2: Saturdays May 4 & 18 1:30-4:00
Both groups can work on their curtains on Saturday, May 25 between 9:30-4:00
Learn to make lined curtains. The first session is a demonstration. Then make your own.
SOFT PELMET MAKING
Demonstration for both Groups is June 15th, 1:00-4:00
GROUP 1: Friday June 21, o9:30-12:00
GROUP 2: June 22, 1:30-4:00
Learn to make pelmets from simple materials like fabric and cardboard. Pelmets sit above curtains and help prevent air moving behind the curtains over cold windows.
