Organic agriculture: Some home truths will be the topic for the upcoming talk in Sustainable Living Armidale’s long-running series of monthly forums at Kent House.
Where is Australia placed in comparison with organic production in Europe and the developing world? Can organic agriculture feed the world? What is the current relationship between mainstream agricultural science and organic agriculture in Australia? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed by guest speaker Paul Kristiansen from the University of New England’s School of Environmental and Rural Sciences.
SLA continues to bring to the community a wide range of sustainability issues in its monthly Forums, as well as maintaining a regular information stall at the Mall Markets.
Paul Kristiansen’s talk on the current status of organic agriculture in Australia will be delivered on Thursday March 7th at 7pm at Kent House, Faulkner Street, opposite Central Park. Light refreshments to follow. All welcome, a gold coin donation would be appreciated.
