From the 1st March 2013 amateur, recreational hunting will take place in 78 of our national parks. The National Parks Association of NSW is working with the community to repeal the legislation that allows recreational hunting to occur.

The National Parks Association of NSW is inviting the community to attend a peaceful rally in the Beardy Street Mall to send the message “No Hunting in National Parks” to government. Please make the effort to attend the rally and send a strong message to the NSW government            .

When: 11:00am – 12:00pm, Saturday 9th February 2013

Where: Beardy Street Mall

Gather in front of the stage located between the Post Office and Courthouse

Speakers will include representatives from the National Parks Association of NSW, Public Service Association and WIRES.

Member for Northern Tablelands Richard Torbay will be providing a statement to be read out at the event as he is unable to attend.
