Dear Member

Further to my advice in October about plans to mount periodic protests and demonstrations against AGL locally, I am able to advise that the first such action is planned as part of the Lock the Gate National Week of Action and will happen on World Food Day, Tuesday 16 October.

Details are still being finalised but the plan is to mount a mass demonstration outside AGL’s Gloucester Office with speeches, media presence and probably culminating in the presentation of a list of demands or questions to AGL.

In order to be effective, we need to have numbers, minimum 100 and hopefully 200 people present. To have a handful of people waving a few banners will be worse than doing nothing. It will probably occur at about 11:00 for an hour or so. Please put this event in your diary and plan to come. More details will be provided ASAP.
