Thursday Forum presents “A load of garbage”

What happens to all that waste that gets produced each day? Where does it all go? How well are we dealing with all that stuff that we don’t want? We chuck it away, or flush it down the loo, but on a finite planet there really isn’t any ‘away’, there’s only  another part of ‘here’, so how well we manage our waste becomes a really important issue.

SLA is delighted to welcome James Turnell as guest speaker at the next Thursday Forum to talk about the many different facets of Council’s waste management strategies including the current waste management facility, the new landfill site, recycling and  City to Soil compost.

Where and when: Kent House 141 Faulkner St (opp Central Park)  Thursday Oct 4th, 7 pm
