Backyard Chook Day

Thinking of keeping chooks?  Come to Incredible Edibles Uralla’s Backyard Chook Day.  This is a family friendly day for the whole family.  Displays and talks will cover feeding chooks, housing fixed or portable, using chook tractors, parasite control, care of a broody hen, raising chickens, growing Clucker Tucker and chooks as family pets.  Some breeders of Heritage chooks will be there to  show  and talk about their favourite breeds. Some poultry will be for sale.

Chook Day will be held on Saturday 11th August 2012 at the RSL Memorial Hall, Salisbury Street, Uralla from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Cost will be $10 each or $20 per family, Lunch and morning tea provided.
