Do you feel powerless about rising electricity prices? Did you know that around $10 Billion of your taxes are used to subsidise fossil fuel production including coal fired power? These taxes go to the very companies that record profits every year.
How can we as ordinary Australians impact on this? Isn’t it all too hard?
We don’t think so! If our taxes were directed towards renewable energy, particularly rooftop solar, individual families actually have the ability to control their energy prices. It is possible to reduce electricity costs and make a positive stand against climate change. A WIN-WIN really.
