On behalf of SLA, thank you Lindsay Falloon we appreciate all your time, and ideas that you brought to SLA. Lindsay Falloon was the convenor of the Transport Action Group, but unfortunately late last year had trouble balancing business, family and volunteer work, something had to give. He said he would be back to help out when things had calmed down, and hopes someone can take over the running of SLA transport.
I personally remember the Open Forum last year with sustainable transport showcasing electric bikes and cars – It was excellent, one of our best attended open forums to date, and definitely the most fun.
Other action/awareness raising by the transport group were:
- ADC bike plan
- Bike maintenance workshop
- Carbon Neutral flights linked to local planting
- Alternative fuels
to name a few.
With Lindsay vacating the position we are looking for a new convenor.
