You & your wheelbarrow – SLA prepares for Autumn Festival: Sat 19 Mar

SLA will have a ‘float’ (on foot) in the Autumn Festival Parade with a colourful message about local food.

It will involve ‘massed’ wheelbarrows, and some shopping trolleys. The overall theme for the Parade is “Around the World in Eighty Floats”, and the SLA take on this will be on the lines of “Your Food: Around the World or Around the Region?”

We’re hoping for lots of participation so please get in touch and say you’ll be there; say whether you have a wheelbarrow; can you provide live music; and if you’d like to come to a working bee to decorate/ make signs etc.

The parade is always good fun, and showcases SLA to a huge number of people.
