With many new refugees now becoming part of our Armidale community, SLA is hosting a forum with the key players involved with their resettlement. Find out what’s happening, what’s proposed and how you can get involved and help.
A panel of speakers will include Samantha Airs, the Community Engagement Coordinator from SSI (Settlement Services International), Lance McNamara, Settlement Worker- Armidale from NSS (Northern Settlement Services), Jeff Seigel, Vice President Sanctuary Armidale, Paul Barrett and David Hamel from Rotary Armidale, and Gabriel Macavoy, from UNE Social Enterprises.
This will be the opportunity to find out what is happening, ask questions, and see what you can do to help.
The forum will start at 7:30 pm at Kent House on Thursday 5 July. All are welcome to attend – gold coin donation appreciated.
