Meet Thomas Mayo

Armidale Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place (ACCKP) and the local Reconciliation group, ANTaR, are delighted to announce that prominent spokesperson for the Uluru Statement From The Heart will be speaking at an informal lunchtime event on Saturday 7^th June at the Cultural Centre from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

Thomas Mayo was last in Armidale to address a packed Town Hall meeting as part of the Yes23 Campaign. Last year, in the lead up to the first anniversary of the Voice referendum he published his 5^th book, “Always Was, Always Will Be” in which he talks about hope and the future we want to see – one where there is justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Lunch will be provided at this free event, and everyone is welcome.
