Twisting Willow

Twisting Willow is an opportunity to build an eco gunyah on the site of the Black Gully Music Festival and to help celebrate the 30th birthday of both NERAM and THe Armidale Tree Group.

The work will be facilitated by Uralla artist Andrew Parker.

Find out more by phoning Andrew on {oh four mobile prefix}27141482 or by turning up on site.

The aim is to construct a number of eco – gunyah viewing shelter pods, within which people may view the Black Gully Music Festival on Sunday 13th October. You need no particular skill, just a sense of adventure. Bring water, gloves, a pruning saw and secateurs (if you have them). This is not a children’s activity but rather for adults accompanied by children or adults with an active inter-child.

When: Saturday 5 October 1pm meet above the wall at NERAM Harvest (near the road) –  Saturday will involve gathering the materials. Building will take place from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 6 Oct & Monday 7 Oct. The following week – 10am – 4pm Friday 11 Oct &Saturday 12. Building may also continue into Sunday 13th
